Bryce and Whitney

Hello! We are the Crider family. We are beyond grateful that you are considering our family for adoption and taking the time to learn a little about us. God has placed adoption on our hearts and we are excited for the journey He has in store for our family. We knew early on in our relationship that we were drawn towards adoption. We have not had any infertility issues but have chosen adoption as our first choice for expanding our family.

We met through mutual friends in 2013 and instantly hit it off. We have talked daily since our first “blind date.” Our love for each other and desire to spend our lives together was quickly evident. We were married May 2015. We have a home in a small, rural community neighboring Whitney’s parents, aunts and uncles as well as cousins. We live within a 30 minute drive from all of Bryce’s family who are also very involved in our lives. We have a very close knit family whom we spend a great deal of time with.

Bryce brought 2 little blessings to the marriage who Whitney instantly welcomed as her own. Bella was born in 2008 and enjoys having sleepovers with her cousins, painting, drawing, boating, swimming and is a great student. Austin was born in 2011. He is a very active little boy who is constantly keeping us laughing. They bring so much fulfillment to our lives. We love playing and being silly as a family.

Bryce works as an orthopedic joint sales rep and manages part of the state of Indiana for total joint replacements. He really enjoys his job and being in surgery. He has a very flexible schedule and enjoys his days off work with Austin. He looks forward to this time each week and is excited to do the same when we welcome another baby in to the family. His favorite hobby is boating. He enjoys volunteering at our church and spending time with friends and family.

Whitney became a Physician assistant in 2011. She worked in the emergency department for 3 years before switching to family practice to accommodate the kids’ busy schedule and spend more time with their family. She enjoys her flexible schedule and only works three and half days a week. This allows her every weekend off to spend time with Bryce and the kids. She and Bryce enjoy almost every weekend over the summer at the lake. All of her immediate and extended family live within 15 minutes of their home. The extended family gets together at least once a month to celebrate the birthdays that month. They have welcomed Bella and Austin in to the family and have always treated them as if they have been there from the start. It has been a lifelong dream of Whitney’s to adopt a child.

Adoption has always been our first choice and we want nothing more than to provide a loving home for a child who is already on the way. God has placed this on our hearts and we are very excited for the path God has planned for us and our future adopted child.
